Some Nights
Stay With You. “The best stories usually start after one more pint.”

Not every evening at Cheers is an event. But sometimes the room fills up, the match goes to extra time, or someone starts a song everyone already knows. Those are the nights people still talk about on the way home.

Every Week Without Fail

The Nights That Built This Place

Some events you schedule. Some just become part of the place. These are the nights people plan their week around.

Match Nights

The Whole Bar
Holds Its Breath.

When the match matters, the pub transforms. Strangers become a crowd. Half-finished pints stay half-finished. The television becomes the only thing in the room. It’s been that way here since 2000, and some things you don’t change.

We show every Premier League match, Champions League night, and international fixture worth watching. The screen is big. The sound is up. The bar is ready well before kick-off.

Songs You
Already Know.

The best acoustic sets at Cheers are not performances — they’re shared memories with a guitar in the room. The songs are familiar on purpose. Brown Eyed Girl. Galway Girl. Wonderwall at closing time, whether anyone planned it or not.

By the second chorus, the table next to you is singing. By the third, so is the bar. Nobody asked them to. Nobody needed to. That’s what an Irish pub sounds like when it’s working properly.

“One voice starts it.
Twenty carry it home.”

Guinness & Traditions

Pulled Slowly.
Sung Loudly.

Ireland doesn’t export much that travels as well as its pub culture. The way a round is bought, the way a toast is made, the way a conversation wanders from football to philosophy to something neither person remembers saying — these are not traditions you invent. You inherit them.

On St Patrick’s Day, Six Nations weekends, and any evening worth marking, Cheers becomes the most Irish room in Barcelona. Which, in our experience, is exactly what the city needs.

What’s On

The regular programme. Every week, without exception, unless the weather in Dublin has something to do with it.

  1. Monday

    Quiz Night

Eight rounds. Forty questions. The category that catches everyone out. Teams of up to six — tables fill early, so arrive before the rules are read.

  2. Thursday

    Europa League & Midweek Football

When the second-best competition in European football delivers better matches than the first. Which happens more often than people admit.

  3. Friday

    Live Acoustic Session

One musician. Familiar songs. The kind of Friday evening that turns into Saturday morning before anyone notices.

  4. Sunday

    Premier League Sunday

Three o’clock kick-offs, five o’clock analysis, evening games until the last whistle. The best day of the week to stay longer than you planned.

Last Orders

One Last Round. Nobody leaves early when the night feels right.

Twenty-five years of evenings that went on longer than planned.
Pull up a chair. The next round is almost ready.
